DETAILS

Operational detail

Permission checkpoints

  • Lesson plan, homework create/edit/view/print, and AI draft actions are permission checked.
  • Teachers should only manage homework for classes or subjects allowed by the school role setup.
  • Print and parent-visible homework should be reviewed before sharing.

Field guidance

Homework date

Use the date the homework is assigned. It should be displayed in the school date format in lists, modals, and print views.

Due date

Set a realistic submission date so students and parents understand the expected completion timeline.

Class and section

Select the intended class-section combination. Duplicate section choices indicate setup data should be reviewed.

Subject and chapter

Choose the subject and chapter when available so homework is searchable and connected to academic planning.

Homework details

Write clear student-facing instructions. Use the view modal to verify readability before printing.

AI draft

Use AI for wording support only. The teacher remains responsible for checking accuracy and appropriateness.

Validation and system feedback

  • Required class, section, subject, date, title, and detail fields are validated before save.
  • Homework records must stay scoped to the authenticated school and selected academic setup.
  • Date filters should narrow the list without hiding the selected session context.
  • Print output should not expose internal IDs or draft-only metadata.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Selecting the wrong duplicate-looking section instead of cleaning academic setup.
  • Using raw date formats in student-facing print material.
  • Saving vague homework details that parents cannot understand.
  • Publishing AI-written homework without teacher review.

SAFE USE

Important safety notes

Use normal Schoolixa workflows

Public docs explain user workflows only. They do not expose internal IDs, direct database operations, credentials, provider prompts, or private system configuration. Permission visibility in the interface does not replace server-side permission checks.
