Operational detail
Permission checkpoints
- Exam configuration, scheduling, eligibility, admit cards, marks, result generation, report cards, and promotion each require explicit permission.
- Teachers should receive only the marks or schedule surfaces needed for their assigned responsibility.
- Publishing results and promotion decisions are protected lifecycle actions and should remain limited to senior exam users.
Field guidance
Create the exam name, term/type, session, and class applicability before scheduling or marks entry.
Assign available papers to classes so schedule, marks, and report cards use consistent paper names.
Each schedule row should define paper or subject, date, timing, maximum marks, and applicable class-section scope.
Review eligible students before admit card generation. Eligibility should be reviewed rather than assumed from the student list alone.
Enter marks only for scheduled and assigned subjects/papers. Review absent, exempt, and practical/theory cases before result generation.
Publish only reviewed results. Parent/report-card visibility should use the module publication controls, not manual workarounds.
Validation and system feedback
- Exam records must match the school, session, class, section, subject, and paper relationships configured in Academic Setup.
- Admit cards are generated only for eligible records and should show generated status after completion.
- Marks and results must not be altered by AI or external shortcuts.
- Promotion consumes published or approved exam outcomes according to the configured workflow.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Scheduling exams before papers and subjects are assigned.
- Treating pending eligibility review as final eligibility.
- Generating admit cards without schedule rows.
- Publishing results before report-card review.

Screenshot plan
Final public screenshots will use synthetic QA data only. Sensitive values such as names, phone numbers, emails, admission numbers, document numbers, credentials, cookies, tokens, and internal IDs must be removed or redacted.
Important safety notes
Use normal Schoolixa workflows
Public docs explain user workflows only. They do not expose internal IDs, direct database operations, credentials, provider prompts, or private system configuration. Permission visibility in the interface does not replace server-side permission checks.
